CHILDS COMPANY SPONSORS CAMP HORIZON'S "FOSTER THE FUNK"

On February 17 at Terminal West, over 400 friends and supporters of Camp Horizon gathered to celebrate Camp Horizon's efforts to restore dignity and hope to Atlanta's youth in foster care. The event raised over $140,000 with the help of incredible donors, friends, and volunteers. From humble beginnings in 1982, Camp Horizon has helped hundreds of emotionally wounded children from foster care backgrounds grow into healthier adults.

Partnering with organizations such as DFACS and Camp Twin Lakes, Camp Horizon has developed year round programs centered on teaching the "3 R's": Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. At its summer camp for foster kids, Camp Horizon provides life changing experiences at state of the art camping facilities while uniquely maintaining a one-to-one camper to counselor ratio.
