This week, we’re excited to spotlight our friend and client Katherine Bailey, Owner and Comptroller at Grind Heart Fitness in Brookhaven, Georgia. Founded in 2023 by Katherine and operated by CJ Board—former college and NFL player and now General Manager; Grind Heart Fitness was established from Katherine’s passion for building a stronger, healthier Brookhaven community where she raised her family. With over a decade of financial experience in the tech industry, Katherine wanted to create a space that encourages balance and well-being beyond work and home—making Grind Heart a third home for its members. Located in the Dresden neighborhood of Brookhaven, Grind Heart Fitness offers an upscale environment featuring high-end Rogue equipment, group fitness classes, personal training, youth & teenage development programs and open gym memberships. New visitors are invited to try a free group fitness class, personal training session, or gym tour to see if it’s the right fit.
Outside the gym, Katherine stays deeply involved in her communities—serving as Treasurer for her Brookhaven neighborhood association and volunteering as an Independent Director for a Manhattan condominium board, where she helps bridge communication between the sponsor-controlled board and the unit owners. Katherine also has strong ties to Greece, where she attended high school and continues to spend summers & holidays volunteering at the Greek Center for the Donkey—an organization dedicated to protecting donkeys and promoting their use as therapy companions for children with disabilities.
