We wanted to recognize our client Shawn Jones for his accomplishments while serving as Chairman of the Board for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia (ABC of Georgia). Shawn has served on the Board of Directors since 2017 and is active on their Legislative Committee. While serving as Chairman, Shawn has provided leadership to the Board of Directors while accomplishing all strategic initiatives. These initiatives include completion of substantial improvements to the ABC headquarters, spearheading political efforts at the State and Federal level and finalizing the creation of ABC’s charitable foundation.
Shawn Jones is also an owner and the President of Southern Mechanical Contractors, Inc. He has worked with them since 1996 and has worked in multiple roles over the last 27 years. Shawn has worked on and secured a wide variety of projects in the Industrial and Commercial markets including Plants, Labs, Food Service, Jails, and Higher Education.
Shawn is a big UGA fan and enjoys boating and deep sea fishing.
