Congratulations to our friends at Fortune-Johnson for being recognized with Associated Builders and Contractors STEP Diamond Award and the 2025 Georgia Award of Safety Excellence at last week's Safety Summit & Awards Luncheon hosted by ABC of Georgia.
The STEP Diamond Award refers to the highest level of achievement in the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Georgia's STEP (Safety Training Evaluation Process) Safety Management System. This award is given to companies with exemplary safety performance and culture; and that have demonstrated a superior safety management system, often with incident rates significantly lower than the national average.
In the words of Brett Fortune, Chairman of Fortune-Johnson: "We appreciate ABC for recognizing our firm, and especially our team, for our record of excellence in safety. The most important thing we do every day is to make sure that everyone who steps foot on our job sites goes home safely to their families at the end of the day."
